BioSometimes, I think a narrow heart
Makes me thus mourn those far away,
And keeps my love so far apart
From friends and friendships of to-day;
Sometimes, I think 'tis but a dream
I measure up so jealously,
All the sweet thoughts I live on seem
To vanish into vacancy.
This is my Australian journal, to be used during the time that I dally about in Melbourne for a couple of months.
(and possibly New Zealand or Tasmania for a fortnight)
Anyone can comment on this journal. Anyone. Really, I would adore it. Especially during my travels. If you're leaving an anonymous comment, just try to drop your name or some hint that it's you. Or leave me wondering.
My favourite font is Aquiline. The people at Goodwill now know me by name. I react strongly to people so that I won't need to be asked personal (and invidious) questions. I've the awful tendency of emitting the air of happiness. I used to be obsessed with the reserved & shy personality, but now I am intrigued by the glitzy sort of mingling that a socialite must partake in. And so I've become just that; I can never stop manipulating anyone, myself included. I am not academically motivated, but am curiously involved; this is the trait that most unnerves me. I don't understand attraction in physical terms. I've got pockets full of windows.
And I can never set my pen to rest.
